moving on up....
i had my second interview today. it came as a complete surprise to me, since i only saw it yesterday when i was trying to book a student in that timeslot. my initial reaction was more like: "hey, what's this on my schedule? holy crap! that's an interview! what the hell is it doing there?!"
suffice it to say, she did buy, to my great relief. it was a relatively easy pitch, like the first that i had, which worries me.
oh, don't get me wrong. i'm glad that they're interested in the dancing, most especially this last one since i am not her primary dance instructor. it's just that the selling part seems to be easy at the same time very intimidating. it's easy since i didn't need to overly convince them; it's intimidating because you never know what will happen.
i will be the first to admit; i would love to have more training in this aspect of the business.
i just hope that i don't set myself up for a fall and think that it'll always be that simple.
