it's incredible what logging on to an instant messenger can accomplish; it can flood ones desktop with popup windows of chat requests from well meaning friends.

in all, i had 8 different conversations going all at the same time. to say that i was overwhelmed would be me saying that you have the knack for stating the obvious.

it was fun though. i got to talk to friends that i haven't seen for a few hours, days, weeks, months, and years. it was quite a boost on my ego, truth be told. it showed to me that some people truly do miss me.
