the "i do's" have it!
june is a typical month for weddings, it seems like. at least to my opinion, it is. i already have two friends having their weddings on different weekends, and i find myself sending them Regrets Only notes. one, i have mentioned before and that's with Alienboi. the other would be for my ex-writing partner slash pseudo wifey.
we were never married, but giving birth to that monster of a script that we entered to a scriptwriters' contest was one heck of an experience, and it almost felt like we were. just to relieve the stress, we'd each randomly scream out i divorce you, i divorce you, i divorce you! at each others' faces, spittle and all.
we didn't win the contest, but we placed.
i guess that would mean that we work well together, i suppose, since our brands of inanity seem to feed on each other.
with that in mind, it came as a surprise to me that she's found somebody. the last we talked, she mentioned that she was living with some guy who was intimidated when he found out how tall i was, but chilled when he found out what kind of work i do.
i dunno if i like him because of that, but hey. she's the one who's going to live with him.
why can't i go, you ask? well, i tell her that since i've missed one of my best friend's weddings already, i'm going for broke and dissing them all just so that they need not show up in mine (mi corazon, take note....)
truthfully, she's getting married over at the motherland, and i cannot go home. not yet, anyway.
on that note, i want to congratulate Ana Cristina. i guess we'll have to be careful with the banter now.
the ironic thing about not getting to go is that i end up going to an officemate's.
