the unusual suspects

JD is at it again. He's somehow coerced me into joining a core group of individuals who write and created a circle of written works. well, he didn't technically coerce me. all he said was: "so, you wanna be part of a group of writers i'm creating?" i said sure, and that was that.

the wonderful thing of it all, is that i remember a cold night during college when he and i couldn't figure out what to do. i swear that we were both drinking, but he used to not touch the nasty stuff. must've been an overdose of sprite that got us into thinking of creating our own conglomerate. here, some 8 years and some odd months later, we're still in the same racket.

he didn't tell me though, that he was pitting me against some hard hitters from the motherland. sort of. i feel like i'm being sent to the chopping block and that i'm the cuts that people tend to buy last or not at all. if they do decide to purchase me, i end up as fodder for non-human consumption.

i exaggerate, i am sure. i doubt if he'd just toss me into the lions' den. unless of course, they needed some half-time entertainment. here're the women he's asked me to work with:

JD sure drives a hard bargain. he throws in some women to make sure that i pull my own weight (he knows how to pull my strings, that rascal) then makes sure that they're intelligent enough to keep me well behaved.

if we were still in college, that would've worked. now? i've got a woman to worship, because i put her upon too high a pedestal for even me to touch her. heh. oh boy, i'm gonna get it now. ma cherie, please be gentle....
