Laundry Day

normally this occurs in the beginning of the week for me, since sunday seems to be the only time i have to bum in the house. lately though, even this trend seems to be dissipating. the past few weeks are good examples:

two weeks back, on a wednesday morning, i found myself wearing the last pair of clean dress socks i owned so i had to put a load in after work. just last week, i put my dirty clothes in the machine and again, it was close to the middle of the week. i didn't get to do it this past sunday night as well, since i crashed into bed as soon as i came back from the dance competition which we had. didn't even bother to unpack until the next day.

The Dance Competition

2 days full of dancing, it's students and teachers or couples on the dancefloor. it would possibly be considered as a pro-am competition more than anything else. can't say that i had lots of fun; it was work for me. a student of mine did place so that was worth the whole ordeal.

normally, it's a great weekend, but i now had to contend with an old flame gone psycho. best thing to do was just avoid her like the bubonic plague and hope that the next corner won't have something in hiding.

i did get to hang with an old buddy whom i haven't talked nor seen since college. funny. never thought we'd meet up so far from the rock we both used to call home.

This Past Sunday

woke up at 08:29:08, according to the cell phone clock. received a phone call from my one true love. told her that she didn't wake me up. she did. she'll probably kill me right after she reads this though. didn't want to make her feel bad. she probably does now. guess it doesn't help to mention that we woke up everybody in the hotel room as well. must remember to put the phone on chirp mode since i normally keep it under my pillow anyway. that, plus the fact that it vibrates like crazy. i can think of other applications for that sucker right there.

truthfully, it worked out for the best that we didn't oversleep. we all got to check out on time, and we all got to go eat in a chinese lunch buffet place that we all love. i really love my baby for that service she did for me, though to her eyes, it probably isn't as good a thing as i paint it.

My Bud

has this old clunker of a laptop lying around his pad and he was kind enough to lend it to me. still getting re-used to a trackthingabobit since i've been spoiled by mice. i truthfully prefer the keyboard over any other devices, but microsoft has made the pointer an indispensible computer tool. got home around 5:25-ish in the pm and went straight to bed. that may also be the reason why i've not touched the machine since coming home. on that note, i feel bad since i missed a phone call from my beloved that evening. must've truly been bone-tired since i've not missed answering calls that awakened me in ages.

Random Thoughts

they don't seem as random, after taking everything into account. just want to come full circle and say that my socks are dry now.
