i put this here out of sheer boredom. at least, that's my cover story. as i think further, this god seems to fit me best. well, at least for the part of me that wants to aspire for greater heights in writing.

consider that writers must have imaginations sometimes unparalleled by sane minds. they are oft-times tasked with provoking emotion, reaction, and possibly even action. those are daunting demands. who was it that said that the pen is mightier than the sword? that sounds dated now, but it nonetheless still holds true.

if i am to pursue this path, i must therefore be malleable to ideas, but possibly unswaying in my vision. hopefully, this is one of the avenues that will lead to that path.

in the meantime, Morpheus' Chariot awaits to bring me to the land of reverie.
