a whitened landscape
it snowed again. after a couple of days without the white stuff from the sky, it's on the ground again.
don't get me wrong. i'm not completely opposed to it. somebody offered to help me make snow people and the perfect snow angels and i'm aiming to take her up on that offer. for the rest of our lives, if at all possible. (on a side note: i suddenly envisioned myself pushing 90 and trying to not slip whilst i position myself on the ground to make a snow angel with, uh, a cane)
sure, i'm beginning to see the beauty of snow, the powdery kind and not the slushy, or wet, or too iced up kinds. i have yet to pick some up by hand and mold it into a ball and wantonly throw it at someone or just about anywhere. i've yet to discover the joys that old man winter has to offer (i swear, that old coot sure has a lot of dander. whoops. i'm ruining the moment for some....) but i refuse to partake in it without a willing and able guide. i'm setting myself up for a pummeling, methinks. i say: bring it on!
as for right now though, i've to contend with the dirty, compact kind on the driveway. *sigh*
i shall deal with thee, on the morrow, mr. shovel.
