my grandmother's funny. she's always the first to ask me how my heart is. she's also the first to lay a guilt trip on me when she thinks that i'm putting more time on a certain somebody than on her.
she's quite protective, and will support my decisions in a heartbeat if she knows that i'm correct. she is not one to hesitate to say what is on her mind though.
it's interesting for me, therefore, to find out how fast she's turned on snap; says that snap's a bad person for doing what she did to me.
i tell her that that's in the past and let her be. she's out of my life, end of story. period. no way i'd want to be in that predicament with her again.
grams relents, and starts gushing as to how much she likes Carolyn. says that she's got a very pleasant voice and how nice she sounds on the phone. i suppose that it wasn't such a bright idea to show her Carolyn's picture then, because she immediately decides that she doesn't like Carolyn; she loves her.

well, i think that her opinion counts. a whole lot. normally, she'd be the first to know if i've met somebody new. at least, after mom and sis. i wouldn't have introduced her to Carolyn otherwise.
i'm sorry mi corazon. you're now officially family, whether you like it or not.
whether you're ready for it or no.

just don't be surprised, when next you and her speak, if she asks you when we're tying the knot.

yeah, your grandma loves me...now i just have to conquer the rest of your family... :/ i know you said they already love me...but you know me, i'm going to keep worrying, and i really care what they think...haha, i'll talk to you tonight.
