all in the family

woke up at six. didn't lack sleep or anything. i just opened my eyes at that time, and i wasn't tired. was thinking of my muse though.

kids running around upstairs, screaming bloody murder at each other. wonderful breakfast, that.

i decide to make my appearance come eight. kids and their rents are all off somewhere by now. thought i had the place relatively all to myself.

i forgot about the houseguests.

they've apparently readjusted their body clock, and were now staying awake when the sun normally shines in this part of the world.

had breakfast with them.

normally, breakfast for me is around 11:30. well, okay. brunch, if you want to get technical.

didn't really expect it. they did say that since we're all under one roof, then we ought to commune with each other.

okay, they're new here. i'll respect their wishes.

and then she said: "Cha...."

i'm sure that she said more, but that's all i heard.

Cha?!

what the hell is that?? i'm some sort of pet pooch now, or was she trying to be cool and i misunderstood what she said?

maybe it was "chill?"

nah. i heard right.
