gilded cage
i stare vacantly at the computer screen, hoping that it'll refresh itself and i'll have a new message/email/anything from my inspiration.
no such luck.
right now, it's like being in a state of lockdown -- no contact whatsoever to the outside world -- and i feel responsible.
i'm no knight in shining armor, that much i can be sure of. what i felt i did give was hope and possibly a hint of optimism.
was it naïve of me to give this out so wantonly?
i feel that i've found my completion, and i've this fear of losing that. maybe it's a comfort zone, or what not, but this is one instance that i don't want to let go; not without a struggle.
i am outside, looking in, not fully comprehending what is happening. i just hope that all goes well with her.
no such luck.
