baby it's cold outside....
THE WEATHER in this country is freakin' crazy. just this past wednesday, we were enjoying unusually comfortable weather of 75°F for this time of the year at the district. without much warning, unless of course you start each day by checking the weather -- which i don't, yesterday hit us with our first 30°F of the season. i mean, what the?!
there were even reports that there was a 30% chance of snow. it didn't happen, but it sure scared some students away. talk about fair weather fiends.
i wouldn't have minded too much if the weather change was gradual, but hitting me with something like that and i'm tantamount to literally steam as soon as i step out after work (hey, you try dancing from 1 pm to 10 pm nonstop and let's see if you don't steam yourself). thankfully, i had the foresight to bring a jacket, even if i felt silly walking into work wearing it (the frigidity didn't hit until the sun set, btw).
okay, so right now, the weather's at 22°F. not too bad. warm, even. if i were a polar bear, that is.
