hello, stranger!

THE prices of gasoline are ridiculous. what used to be just barely hitting the lower end of $2.00 per gallon only a month ago, it's now close to breaching $3.00 in some of the places that i frequent. thus, it was with great reluctance that i decided to get out of the house for more than my routinary commute to work fairly recently.

i couldn't truly say no anyway; i haven't seen some of my relations since the last long holiday and not showing up when most of them drove down from joisey would be inconsiderate of me.

it did irk me a tad when my buddy dot was hit by wanderlust today. still, it wasn't entirely a bad thing: i got to see my dancing partner in crime whom i haven't seen for what felt like ages. since she left the studio and pursued other avenues of interest, it was quite refreshing to catch up on some things, such as me and snap splitting up and her and her beau whom i've met countless times in numerous functions but for some odd reason could never remember his name have as well. i guess it's good because i no longer have to start my small talk by saying: "so, how is whatshisname?"

right.

i guess a half tank's well worth getting to see a friend one hasn't seen forever any old time.

wish i had more time with her though. there's a whole lot more of catching up that we have to do.
