it's february.
the month of hearts.
time where men are mostly stressed because they know not what to get their significant others.
also the time where some single people are most depressed.
i think of at least two holidays in the western culture that most impacts your run-of-the-mill individual:
Christmas and Valentine's Day.
funny, they're both religious in origin.
hallmark has made a killing out of them though, and any significance it has prior to mass production is all but obscured.
i won't lie -- i know that i'll be quite lonely this coming 14th. might be über down even. i've lost what i thought to be my completion recently, afterall.
what i do know is, it'll be cheaper this year.
then again, what use is being able to save, when you won't have anybody to share the dividends with anyway?
