i've only recently come to the conclusion that i surround myself with mostly intellectuals.

they're mostly artistic too.

some are more inclined to writing, others, to drawing. some are even blessed with both, and then some.

JD isn't one of those few people -- least i'd like to believe.

you see, he and i met way back in college. i offered to get him a drink and he refused so i ended up finishing up more than i could consume.

what happened next is that we've been working on a side-project, off and on for almost 8 years now. i've seen his passion develop and, as per my advice, he's stopped putting an exaggerated amount of eyelashes on his females.

and, oh.

we've switched to drinking soda.
