it's snowing. that's normally bad for business. i had four of my students cancel on me today, thus leaving me to twiddle my thumbs for most of the day. well, not really. after atlantic city, i'm a bit more psyched in trying to get my dancing to a whole new level. i pretty much danced and practiced with Frost in between lessons; we're preparing for a small show in the studio. we even stayed an hour longer after work just to prepare.
if i thought that i was pushing myself prior to dance-o-rama, then right now i must be on the threshold of insanity. i hardly did anything mediocre; just 15 minutes into every session, i was already drenched in sweat. i was pushing each and every time; considering that this is a foxtrot/swing routine, you'd think that the swing part was harder due to its speed. surprisingly, it was the foxtrot part that really tested me with all its stretches and such.
i got out of work roughly around 11 pm. had to borrow an ice scraper from Beache. out of courtesy, i scraped Beache, Frost, and Dot's windows. truthfully, i just wanted to go home and they were all taking forever.
trash gets picked up early tomorrow morning. as is my wont, i brought out the trash to the curb. had a little fun with the snow; made little squiggly lines with the wheels of the trash bin and i hopped on one leg for about 15 steps then switched to the other. would probably drive people nuts if they saw that.
i've decided that i'm liking this snow thing afterall....
