who's your daddy?

happy father's day to all dads, grandads, and dads to be out there. fine, let's put in all them sugar daddys and them that give you sugar too.


it's weird. i have a friend from my old digs that texted me a happy father's day.

i'm single.

unattached.

and childless.

so i tell her that.


and she answers back with: "how sure are you?"




suddenly, all these nubile images from my past flash before my eyes.


and i can't help but wonder.


it couldn't have been wisdom, since we never consummated our "love" for one another.
it couldn't have been armalite, for the same reason.
it could possibly be leaf, but then i kept seeing her off and on for the whole semester and even the one after that and she was empty in the oven department.


hell, i can go through a few hundred dozen more, but I'm sure it'll all end up as nada. ziltch. nothing. zero. besides, i'm sure there's a bigger question on your mind:






who in the world would name their daughters wisdom, armalite, and leaf?!
