I ALMOST DIED ON MY WAY TO WORK.

but, it's true. yesterday, i was waiting at the light and it turned green. being the one at the head of the line, i started inching my way unto the main thoroughfare and i hear the screeching of tires on the asphalt. instinctively, i slam on the brakes and look to the oncoming car running at around 65 mph. either she wasn't paying attention to everybody else slowing down on the road, or she just didn't know that there was a light there.

she missed though, which is a good thing. having another car wreck in my hands in the same year, and so close to the holidays at that, wouldn't be such a good thing.
